Ready to listen to your side of the story and fight hard in litigation, we are easy for our clients to talk to and tough in the courtroom. Every drunk driving defense starts with a thorough investigation, and we take the time to gather all necessary information before advising you on how to best proceed with your case.
There are a few factors that could enhance misdemeanor drunk driving charges and result in you facing a felony DUI. Ready to challenge the prosecution and minimize the damages at every turn, we fight hard to reduce the charges against you, particularly if they have been enhanced as a result of:
- DUI Involving Bodily Injury to Another Person
- 4th or More Offenses
While all felony DUI charges come with greater potential consequences than misdemeanor charges, there is also a great bodily injury or death sentence enhancement which will add three years of jail time for every person harmed in the accident. If there were children involved in the accident, child endangerment charges may also be added.
In addition to handling the felony DUI charge itself, our firm also handles vehicular manslaughter charges. We are ready to help you face any and all challenges and related issues arising from a felony DUI / DWI charge.
Keeping Your License
In addition to fighting against the criminal DUI charges, you also have to fight to keep your license. You only have ten days after a DUI arrest to request a license suspension hearing with the DMV. If you fail to request the hearing within the 10-day time limit, your license will be automatically suspended for 30, 60, 90 days or much longer.
